The above information was provided by Mrs. Eulah Quiring, great-granddaughter of Nancy Mitchell, in the book "800 Missouri Families: Vol. 3" by Don Vincent.
Nancy's grandfather, David Robertson, was reported to be in the War of 1812 (Battle of New Orleans). David is buried in the Hugo Cemetery in Camden County, MO.
Her great-grandfather, Jesse Robertson, was a soldier in the Revolutionary War (North Carolina). Jesse is buried on his farm place in Sumner County, TN.
Nancy had a brother named David Robertson Claiborn who was killed age 24 in 1862 in the Civil War (Confederate). I have seen his place of death as Arkansas. Her brother Daniel A. Claiborn lost an arm fighting for the Union.
