Gwendolyn "Penny" Sue Adler of Troy, Missouri, was born on August 24, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri to
loving parents, William and Jacqueline (Good) Aylward and was the oldest of seven sisters: Debbie, Vickie, Charlene, Becky, Donna, Robin, Sandy and two brothers: Jimmy and Scott. She entered into rest August 15, 2022 at her residence in Troy at the age of 74. Penny was born in St. Louis, her childhood years were spent in Jennings, Missouri. Shortly after marriage and starting a family, she moved to Hazelwood, Missouri. While Penny held various occupational roles outside the home, her primary dedication and focus was decisively on her family and being the best wife and mother.

She is survived by her husband, Tony "Joe" Adler; two children: Tony (Dorothy) Adler and Michelle (Paul) Adams; five grandchildren: Missy Quinlisk, Brandon Davidson, Crystal Adler, Dustin Noe, and Tyler Northrup, as well as 12 great-grandchildren: Scarlett,Isabella, Emma, Tayler, Brandon Jr., Gracie, Faith, Melissa, Kaylee, Jackson, Jayson, and Ryann.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three siblings: Donna Allgaier, Scott Wotring, Debbie Otto; two children: Connie and Joe; and her grandson, Joe Jr., AKA Joe Boy.

Penny's most notable qualities were selflessly serving her family and others, honorably helping anyone in need, strength and resilience beyond comprehension, faithfully striving to uplift and unconditionally love all in her presence, faith in God, her life-long crush on Elvis, and her absolute delight in finding "treasures" at the Goodwill stores.

As an affirmation to Penny's life and legacy, refrain from getting all shook up, don't be cruel, keep life burning with love, and practice random acts of goodwill.

Join us for an uplifting Celebration of Life Service on her birthday (August 24) at 6:30 pm at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone Street in Troy Missouri, (636) 528-8244. Rev. Dr. Jeff Moore to officiate.
