Harry Hager, 79, well known em­ployee of the Weston State hos­pital, died at that institution Sat­urday evening at 8 o'clock, follow­ing a brief illness due to advanced age. He suffered a general break­down earlier in the week. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 2:30 from the First Methodist Episcopal church with the pastor, the Rev. D. Ralph Dunn, in charge. Burial was made in the Machpelah cemetery.

Harry Hager was the son of Ja­cob B. and Artemisia Stone Hager. He married Bridget Fahey on April 8, 1881. She died several years ago. He came to Weston from Ben­wood, near Wheeling, and resided here 25 years. He was employed at the State hospital for ten years. Prior to that time he worked in the local field for the Pittsburgh and West Virginia Gas Company.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Mary A. Mulvehill, Fairmont; Mrs. Art Harrington, Chicago; Mrs. Elenora McGilvary and Mrs. Eulalia Bradley, of Tulsa, Oklaho­ma; two sons, Edward Hager, of Fairmont, and Jacob Hager, of this City, and one brother, John Hager, of Broadtree, W. Va.
