Susan Wiley, 73, a native of and resident of Houma, LA, passed away on August 16, 2022.

She is survived by her son, Gary Lamar Blanchard; brother, Revis Caskey; sister, Mary Gonzales; grandchildren, Summer Blanchard and Peyton Blanchard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Wiley; parents, Leola "Betty" Opp and Lamar Caskey; son, Todd Auther Blanchard.

Mother, Grandmother, wife, sister, cousin and a friend. She will be missed by all.

She was an amazing mother. She started out as a secretary at St. Ann's Hospital in Raceland, worked full-time and put herself through college all while raising two boys as a single mother. She eventually retired as Business Office Director at Terrebonne General.

She fought a long battle with cancer, she NEVER gave up, her body was tired. She rarely complained even though we all knew how hard it was for her. She loved her family, all of them especially me and her grandchildren. She will be missed every day.

One of the last things she did was ask me what I was gonna do the rest of the day, I said I wasn't sure, what was she gonna do. She replied, "I'm going sing with the angels."

As per Mrs. Susan's request, there will be no services.
