Albert graduated from Rio Grande High School and retired from Bueno Foods where he worked for around 43 years. Albert worked hard to provide for his family, often going many years with only one day off.
He was quiet, reserved, and a person of a humble nature. He enjoyed watching sports, reading and working around the house. He was known for making a tasty pot of posole during Christmas.
He never complained or wanted anyone to feel sorry for him when his leg was amputated, and he was dealing with leukemia.
Albert is preceded in death by his tia, Isabel Gallegos, who he loved dearly.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; son, Eric and wife, Mayra; granddaughter, Emma; step-granddaughter, Alina; brother, Frank; brother-in-law, Mark Ogas; sisters-in-law, Laura Baldauf and Velma Ogas; cousins: Gilbert Gallegos, Anthony Gallegos, Raymond Gallegos, Lucille Gallegos and many more.
