ADAM DUKOWSKI
Adam Dukowski was born in Poland and came to Canada at the young age of 15. He settled in Winnipeg, Manitoba, whwere he started a FireWood Business, gathering and selling truckloads of firewood to the residents of Winnipeg.
After World War II was over, Adam set his sights on Vancouver and headed west. In Vancouver, he quickly
built and owned a Motel on Kingsway. The Motel was initially called the Eagle Motel and then, the London Guard Motel. The Dukowski's owned that Motel for 70 years.
Adam's greatest pastime was, by far, the Stock Exchange, where he invested heavily in the Vancouver Stock Exchange and especially in Mining Stocks.
Adam Dukowski is buried at Ocean View Cemetery, in South Burnaby, British Columbia.
MAY ADAM REST IN PEACE.
