Cecilia Arzia Bailey Chandler left this life on Sunday, August 28, 2022. Cecilia was born to Toil (Papa) and Ethel Bailey on February 16, 1925 in Conway, Arkansas.

Cecilia loved people, as shown by she and her husband Howard "Bear" Chandler regularly hosting buffet style dinners at their home. When you came to their house one of the first things Cecilia said to you was, "have you eaten"? She showed her love with food and loved to serve friends and family at her home and church. Most will remember her going to their house at Christmas and enjoying all the snacks she had prepared and laid out on their dining table. The running family joke was that she made "a pie per family member for every holiday". She along with her sisters and sister-n-law all loved to gather, talk, cook and feed their families.

Cecilia was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Howard, daughter, Sonja Lynn Chandler, nephew, Robert (Robbie) Chandler her four sisters, Lavada, Marie, UVL(Bernice), Pat, and brother, Charles (Chuck).

She is survived by her son, Dan Chandler, daughter-in-Law, Kathy Chandler, and grandson, Dan (DJ) Chandler, as well as her brother, Harold Dean Bailey (JoAnn) and countless nieces and nephews.

At the request of Cecilia, there will be only a graveside service which will be held at 2pm on Thursday, September 1st at Oak Grove Cemetery in Conway.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
