Evelyn Janette Owens Asbill, 80, of Asheboro, passed away on August 30, 2022, at Clapp's Nursing Home.
Mrs. Asbill was born on November 3, 1941, in Randolph County to Esco and Bertha Cox Owens.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Asbill was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Asbill.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Brian Asbill and wife Tracey of Cary, Craig Asbill of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Matthew, Katie, and Eleri; sister, Barbara Ward and husband Larry of Asheboro; brother, Howard Owens and wife Annette of Asheboro.
The family will receive friends Friday, September 2, 2022, from 1:00 - 1:50 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Boles officiating. Burial will follow in the Randolph Memorial Park. The family requests memorials be made to Good Samaritan Baptist Church, 844 Powhatan Ave., Asheboro, NC 27203.
