Mae R. Irelan, 83, of East Wenatchee, died in a local hospital Saturday morning following a long illness.
She was born in Mexico, Mo., Sept. 1, 1885, and as an infant she moved with her parents to Spokane.
On March 22, 1910, she married Homer Irelan in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and they moved to Chewelah where they famed. The family moved to Chelan in 1920. Since 1957 they made their home in East Wenatchee.
Surviving are; her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Gladys Canterbury, Wenatchee, Mrs. Shirley Overman, Leavenworth, Mrs. Maxine Macy of Calif., and Mrs. Bernice Beckman, Cashmere; two sons, Kearn Irelan, Dryden, and Alfred Ireland, Denver, Colo.; two brothers, George Eller, of Aurora, Ore., and Edwin Eller, Bellevue; 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter.
