Heartfelt Thank You to Angelic Whispers for sponsoring Andrew's memorial

Andrew Medina born on April 13, 1968, in San Antonio, Texas entered into rest on September 7, 2022, at the age of 54 years. Mr. Medina was the owner of P.M. Masonry and a graduate of St. Mary's University in 1997. From getting a terminal colon cancer diagnosis with 2 months left to live in 2011 to having battled 4 different Cancers until it was time for him to gain his wings. A devout family man, with his love and kindness felt by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. A man who couldn't let others go in need, and a man who was known to uplift and carry those around him. His loyalty to his Spurs and the Cowboys will inspire us to carry on even when they drop the ball.

The legendary Sunday Fundays with PoPo-Gpa at the grill singing along to party hits, making sure everyone was fed and happy, his grandbabies would have first dibs on his famous ribs, those will be the best most cherished memories. These and so many other memories will be the reason we take an extra shot, make the most out of every moment, and enjoy the lives we lead. Words cannot express the depth and significance this man has had on his those who have been blessed by his existence. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Medina, and Fr. Harry Martin, sister, Sandra Medina, and father-in-law, Joe Rable Martinez.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Medina; children, Krystal Martinez and Andrew Medina Jr.; grandchildren, Evan Andrew Medina and Mila A. Medina; sisters, Rosalinda Medina, Beatrice Medina, Diana Medina, and Christina Medina; brothers, Paul Medina, Carlos Medina, Joe Anthony Medina, and Gilbert Medina. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at the Alamo Funeral Chapels. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church with the interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery #2.
