Annette Stoner 67, passed away peacefully in her home after battling colon and pancreatic cancer. She and her twin sister Jannette were born to Roy and Irma Blakley on November 13, 1954, in Altus, Oklahoma. She was a devoted wife, mother and nana. Ann married the love of her life Mike on May 4, 1973, in Eastland, TX. She was able to be a stay-at-home mother and care for her children Dannette and Don until they were out of elementary school. Ann attended Weatherford College and received her associate degree and became a Licensed Vocational Nurse in 1984. She was a devoted and compassionate nurse who went the extra mile for every patient she cared for in her 21 years of service. Ann was a member of New Faith Baptist Church of Annetta. She was saved at the age of 10 and followed in baptism as an adult. She was a devoted Christian and loved the Lord with all of her heart. Ann's world revolved around her family. She enjoyed taking vacations to Branson and Graceland with her husband and listening to country and gospel music. She loved, protected, corrected, nurtured and praised her children and grandchildren every precious moment she spent with them. She taught each of them to be loving, fair, kind and accepting of others. She had a special song that she sang to each of her grandchildren that was uniquely their own as soon as they were born. She fostered a love a reading, music and family time in each of them. She loved trivia and you never wanted to play a game of Jeopardy against her because she would win every time.
