M. Young was the sixth of eleven children born in Crystal Springs, Mississippi on January 8, 1954; to the very proud parents of Martha and Samuel Young. M was a good old county boy at heart; dip stuff, chewed tobacco, worked hard and loved a good time with the ladles.

M had a good, wild adventurous spirit. He had decency, faith, compassion, humor, which are rare qualities in one person.

He also loved to sing his favorite songs by the Commodores, "Penny lover" and "Sail away". He loved to tell stories, crack jokes, he enjoved the little ones, It always put a special kinda smile on his face, watching them roam around and play.

M loved family. M's life was full of adventure travel and mayhem. Family always came first. He had friends galore, he touched so many lives by his selfless and countless acts of kindness; always giving, never expecting anything in return.

"Give the shirt off my back" was literally true of M. He truly was one of a kind. He wasn't much of a church goer, but Jehovah God lived in his heart, in his deeds, his personality and his appreciation of life. M leaves to cherish, his one and only son: Mr. Dontae Young; sisters: Estella White of MI, Dorothy Miller (Thomas) of LA, Georgia Johnson of MS and Nora Young of DC; brothers: Jessie Gatlin of MS, Walter Young of MS and George Young of MN: special friends: Lois Wright of Summerfleld, FL and Cindy Marks of Tavares, FL; special and close nephew: Dujuan Bill White, along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. M is preceded in death by his parents: Martha and Samuel Young: sister: Jerealean Johnson, brothers: Samuel Young, Jr. and Henry Young. If I could write a list of all the people who will love and miss you the only word I could write is "Infinity" endless.
