My lovely mom was born Lixnaw Co, Kerry Ireland, to Jack and Bridget Brosnan, one of 7 children, She was predeceased by both parents and 2 of her sisters Philomena and Mary, in 1961 she married John Drury and at the time of her passing they had just celebrated 61 happy years of marriage,
they had 5 daughters, and has 7 grandchildren she adored,
they lived in Ballyheigue a beautiful seaside village in Ireland,
Mom was a woman with an open house the kettle was always on and neighbours and friends would pop in for tea, at dinner time she always cooked extra as she never knew who would join us, all the local children would wander in and out of our home, mom had a beautiful friendly nature and was always the first to help someone in need,
she was an exceptional Cook and Baker, there was always fresh homemade bread, the home always smelled of wonderful things baking or cooking, she loved to read and do crosswords and puzzles, she loved her garden and it was always filled with bright coloured flowers, She is greatly missed by her loving husband and daughters and many friends, she was predeceased by their daughter Mars, in 2010,

On the base of her headstone it says
They lived for those the loved,
Those they loved will remember
