Ada (Patterson) Chatman was born on December 24, 1899 in Tennessee, and she was the daughter of Robert Patterson and Nannie (Primm) Patterson (ca 1877–1965).
A maid living at 308 Alice Avenue in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee, she was 64 years old, a widow and had cancer when she also had a heart attack and died October 27, 1964 at Nashville General Hospital, where she had been for about two weeks. Burial was four days later in Mount Ararat Cemetery, Nashville.
