Daisy STERNER LINDLEY is the daughter of Albert and Mary (KERNS) STERNER. She married Jeffery Edward LINDLEY, 15 March 1915 at Onawa, Monona County, Iowa. The couple farmed in the Castana and Smithland Iowa areas. Jeffery died in 1967. Daisy moved into Ute, Monona County, Iowa, in 1968,and then to Mapleton, Monona County, Iowa in 1982. She entered the Mapleton Nursing Home, in 1986. She was a member of the St. Johns Methodist Church of Mapleton.
Surviors include a daughter and husband Alice and Keith Miller, a son and his wife, Roy and Dorothy Lindley of Ute, 11 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, Daisy was preceded in death by her parents,two daughter, Esther Chedester and Violet Strait, two sisters and six brothers. Burial at St Clair Cemetery, Monona County, Iowa.
