The area basketball world today mourned the death of Nate Sutin. A strong disciplinarian by bis own admission, but a man who could get the best effort out of a boy, Sutin, 60, the coach for 23 years at Albany High School, died last night. Sutin was stricken with a heart seizure while speaking at the Blessed Sacrament Church Sports Night. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Albany Medical Center. Born in Albany, Satin was a graduate of Van Rensselaer High and received a bachelor of arts degree from East Stroudsberg State Teachers' College in Pennsylvania and master's degree from Albany State University. Sutin was a member of Temple Beth Emeth, the New York State Teachers' Association and the Adirondack Coaches' Association. He is survived by his wife, Agnes Knox Sutin; a daughter, Nancy Carol Sutin; two sisters, Mrs. Jacob Levine of Albany, and Mrs. Alex Horowitz of Sherman, Calif., and three brothers, William Sutin and Hillard Sutin, both of Albany, and Irving Sutin of Washington, D.C. Burial will be in Beth Emeth Cemetery, Loudonville.
