Lydia Clocker Death Victim
Mother of Wilkes-Barre Police Officer Dies at General Hospital
   Mrs. Lydia S. Clocker, 59, of 306 Carey Avenue, mother of Wilkes-Barre Police Sgt. Albert Clocker, and a prominent church worker died at midnight In Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
   Mrs. Clocker was born in Wilkes-Barre and had been a life resident. An active member of First PM Church, she was superintendent of the Cradle Roll of the church for many years. For more than 25 years she taught a Sunday School Class which took its name from her initials, the LC Class.
   Also surviving are her husband, Richard, three sons, Edward, of New Jersey; Thomas, of New York, and Richard, of Baltimore; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a brother and two sisters, John Smith and Mrs. Dolly Sicherman, both of Wilkes-Barre, and Mrs. Elizabeth Strock of Boston.
   Edward Clocker, Jr., the eighth grandchild, was killed in Burma in World War 2.
   The funeral will be held from the home. Arrangements by Luther M. Kniffen.
