She loved her family most of all ! She loved quilting too. She had such a giving heart. She loved to give. The quilts in the photo are the ones she had made for family and friends who attended her funeral.....in honor of her ! Those are just a few of the quilts she had made.
When she was in the nursing home and could no longer quilt, but always had to be busy (just a hard-working German), she crocheted pot-holders every day and gave them away to whoever came into her room...any of the staff .nurses, nurses-aids, doctors, clergy, all visitors, etc.
