He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, three children, James, Marie Santure and John J. Jr.; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Harlow and Lillian Paluch; and two brothers, Joseph and Henry Jajuga.
He was preceded in death by a daughter and son, Sally and Donald, and a sister, Jean Krawiec.
Funeral services were on Jan. 11, at St. Mary's Church in Wayne, with Fr. Raymond Bucon officiating. Interment was in St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights. Arrangements were by the Lents Funeral Home of Wayne.
