Ms. Janet Evans, longtime resident of Florala, passed away into the loving arms of our Lord on October 11, 2022.
Janet was born August 7, 1944, to Obie Evans and Ruby Blanchard Evans.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward & Ruby Evans, sister, Barbara Townsend, brothers, Buzzy Evans, Dwight Evans, Greg Evans.
She leaves to cherish her memory one son, two grandkids, two sisters, and several nieces and nephews.
Janet had a strong personal relationship with the Lord, and she showed it every day in her life. In the Bible, God requires us to love everyone. Janet was the perfect example of this, she loved everyone she met and told you she loved you. She just made you feel better to be around her. She loved to sing and praise the Lord in her Church.

Visitation: 1:00pm, Sunday, October 16, 2022, at Evans Funeral Home.
Burial: in the family plot at Greenwood Cemetery.
