She was born August 1, 1952 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Joseph and Ernestine (Menges) Gagnon. On January 2, 1971 she married James R. Springstube in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on July 14, 1973. Julie was well known as a bartender at The Spot in Manitowoc, and later worked for Maretti's Deli, retiring in 2021. She loved spending time and hanging out with her friends at Revolutions Bar and Grill in Manitowoc.
Julie is survived by her two children: Stacy Hein (Chris Pribbernow), Manitowoc, and James (CSM Ana) Springstube, Camp Walker, South Korea; and four grandchildren: Hailey, Emily, Camron, and Jessica (Adam). Brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Ernestine Gagnon; her husband: James Springstube; siblings: CoraLee Schwalbe, Kathleen (Eugene) Schroeder, and Joseph Gagnon; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Raymond and Shirley Springstube; brother-in-law: Donald Springstube; and nephew: Jason Gagnon.
Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory of Manitowoc, and a celebration of Julie's life will take place at a later date.
