Sophie Ackerley , 67, died Nov. 29, 1997.
She was a resident of Fort Pierce for four years, coming from Homestead. She was a native of White Bear Lake, Minn.
Mrs. Ackerley was a homemaker and president of the Plantation Manor Womens Club.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Robert W. Ackerley of Fort Pierce; son, Joseph Paul Ackerley of Forest Lake, Minn.; daughters Susan Kathryn Robbins of Palm City and Cindy Jean Pizza of White Bear Lake, Minn.; mother, Helma S. Letourneau of White Bear Lake, Minn.; brothers, John Letourneau of Arizona, Greg Letourneau of Hugo, Minn. and Daniel Letourneau of White Bear Lake, Minn.; sisters, Joyce Todzy of White Bear Lake, Minn. and Constance Zaiger of White Bear Lake, Minn.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
SERVICES: Private funeral services will be held. Yates Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
