Linda Diane Zikes, 64, of Aurora, CO entered heaven on Saturday, October 8, 2022. Diane was born December 26, 1957 in Bryan, TX. She was a former longtime resident of Texas City and moved to Aurora, CO in 2006. Diane was a member of Southeast Christian Church in Parker, CO. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed gardening, reading, shopping, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Diane adored her nephews, Bradley and Steven Henke and her great nephews, Sage and Koen Henke.

Diane was truly one of the nicest and kindest people you could ever meet. Despite her many medical challenges, she maintained a very positive attitude and always trusted God to sustain her according to His plan.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Eloise (Brown) Zikes; her brother, Frankie Lee Zikes; and her nephew, Steven Frank Henke. Survivors include her sister, Beverly Zikes Henke of Centennial, CO (husband Dave); her uncle Ralph Jones of Bryan, TX; her aunt Pauline Brown of Channelview, TX; her nephew Bradley David Henke of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (wife Elise, children Sage and Koen); and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at the Bryan City Cemetery, 1111 North Texas Avenue, Bryan, TX.

Graveside service and burial will be at Bryan City Cemetery on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m., under the care and direction of Emken- Linton Funeral Home, Texas City.
