ANTON TOMECEK DIED IN HOUSTON

On Saturday, June 27th, in Houston, died Mr. Anton Tomecek, at the age of 69 years. Funeral services for him were on Monday, in the Resurrection of Our Lord, in Houston. Then the deceased was taken to Granger and buried in the Holy Cross Cemetery, in Granger. Services were performed by Rev. George Tydlacka.

The deceased was born and brought up in Granger. He was a very kind and good-natured person.

He is survived by his wife Lillie (Matula) Tomecek, in Houston; son, Milton Matula, in Baytown, 5 sisters, Mrs. Frances English, in Corpus Christi, Mrs. Julie Kaderka, in Bartlett, Mrs. Annie Chasak and Rosie Kocurek, in Granger and Mrs. Mary Kocurek, in Corpus Christi; brothers Joe Tomecek, in Schwertner and Louis Tomecek in Buffalo.
