Edgar H. "Ted" Rogers, 68, of 2245 14th St. SW, died today at St. Thomas Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Frostburg, Md., Mr. Rogers moved to Akron 45 years ago. He was employed as a tire builder at Firestone, where he worked for 43 years until his retirement in Mr. Rogers 1966. He was a member of the URW. He leaves his wife, Iva, a son, John, Cuyahoga Falls, and three grandchildren. Services will be Friday 11 a. m. at Schlup-Cox funeral home, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Thursday. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery.
