Jean Nevin was the daughter of Alexander Nevin and Catherine McGill and had two sisters,Elvira and Ellen. Catherine McGill's mother is believed to be Jeane D. McGill.
Fred is listed as a grain farmer in Crawford County, Kansas in the 1920 Federal Census. He later moved to the Coffeyville area where he both farmed and worked at the Co-op Refinery. they farmed near Calloch (Kalloch) , Kansas until about 1945, when a farm near Liberty was purchased. They lived at the Liberty location until their deaths. Two children were born to this union, Arthur Alex and Daisy Vaughn.
