American Thoroughbred racehorse. He is best known for winning the 1988 Breeders' Cup Turf.

Great Communicator was a grandson of the Hall of Fame sire Bold Ruler who was an eight-time Leading sire in North America whose descendants include the legendary Secretariat.

His major wins included winning the Hollywood Turf Cup Stakes, the San Juan Capistrano Handicap, the San Luis Obispo Handicap, the San Marcos Handicap, and the Golden Gate Handicap in 1988. He also won the Breeders Cup Turf that same year.

He won the Hollywood Turf Cup again in 1989 and the Henry P. Russell Handicap in 1990. His winnings totaled close to three million dollars.

Great Communicator was euthanized after suffering a breakdown in 1990 at the Carleton F. Burke Handicap in Santa Anita Park. He was buried at Hollywood Park.

When Hollywood Park was closed due to new real estate development at the location (now the location of SoFi Stadium), Great Communicator was claimed by his owner and moved from Hollywood Park to Del Mar Racetrack Cemetery.
