Geraldine M. Gagnon, age 96, formerly of Denmark, passed away October 24, 2022. The daughter of the late Ed and Mary (Konitzer) Gallas was born June 6, 1926 in Oconto Falls. On September 9, 1943 she married Floyd H. Gagnon in Mississippi, and he preceded her in death. Geraldine was a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church-Glenmore and their Altar Society. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, crochet and playing cards (especially Solitaire).
Survivors include her dog "Junior;" children: Craig (Rita), Edward (Belinda), Marianne (Dennis) Zirbel, Scott (Mary Ann Loss), Bryan (Julie) and Patrick; thirteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; sister Evelyn Delveaux; brother Ed (Patti) Gallas, Jr. and sister-in-law Deloris Gallas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd H. Gagnon; parents Ed and Mary Gallas; son Gary Gagnon; granddaughter Brynn Gagnon; brother George Gallas; sisters: Elaine (Joe) Schaal and Joanna (Walter) Kardoskee; brother-in-law: Bernard Delveaux.
Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home-Denmark Chapel (536 County Road R) on Saturday, October 29, from 10:00am until the time of prayer service at 11:00am. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery-Glenmore.
