Anna Mae Coiner, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away at 7:55 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2008, at Augusta Medical Center in Fishersville. Born May 22, in Canton, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Dallas Fornia and Laura Elizabeth Buchanan McCourry.

She retired from Kroger of Waynesboro and was a member of West Waynesboro Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday school and served as a trustee and as treasurer of the missions committee and of the Be About Circle.

Survivors include her husband, C.E. "Buddy" Coiner; two sons, John T. Coiner and his wife, Carolynn, of Waynesboro, C.E. "Buddy Jr." Coiner and his wife, Patricia, of Columbus, Ga.; a brother, George McCourry and his wife, Virginia, of Waynesboro; nine grandchildren, John Timothy Coiner ll, Sarah Coiner, Olivia Walker and John, Mary, Joseph, Benjamin, Hannah and David Coiner; and three great-grandchildren, Kailey and Jedd Walker and Mckenzie Coiner.

A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, at West Waynesboro Church of Christ at 2212 Cortland St. in Waynesboro by Phil Forehand. A private family burial will be conducted Monday at Augusta Memorial Park.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of The Crusaders Sunday school class.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, in the fellowship hall of West Waynesboro Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Missions Fund of West Waynesboro Church of Christ, 2212 Cortland St., Waynesboro, VA 22980.
