The body of Ferdinand Atloff [sic], a farmer residing about three miles southeast of the city, was found yesterday morning by a woodchopper, having committed suicide in the timber near his house at an early hour....
The deceased was well-known. He was 47 years of age and leaves a wife and five children in comfortable circumstances. The probable cause for his rash act was mental aberration. Mr. Atloff had had no pecuniary difficulties, and no reason is assigned for the suicide.. The funeral will take place this afternoon from his late residence.
