The funeral service will begin at 1:30 PM, Wednesday November 2, 2022, in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 Hwy 277 South. A visitation will begin after the service until 2:30 PM. Interment will follow the service in Elmwood Memorial Park.
Herbert was born July 22, 1946, in Austin, Texas to Herbert Virgil Culp, Jr. and Annette Culp.
Herbert graduated from Abilene High School in 1965.
He enjoyed movies, records, tapes, electronics and classical music.
He lived at Clyde Nursing Center for the past 9 years where he was named the "undisputed ultimate dominator" in playing checkers.
Above all Herbert was a Christian and loved his family with all his heart.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Fosters Home for Children in Stephenville.
