Daughter of Charlie Corbin and Fannie Lou Brown. Married James Allen Paige 20 May 1944 in New Kent Co., Va.; divorced 1962. Married James Arthur Williams 12 Apr 1965 in Hampton, Va. After his death, she married Lewis Earl Fox 26 Jan 1974 in Hampton, Va.

Bernice W. Cox

Hampton - Mrs. Bernice W. Cox, 74, died on May 6, 1999. A native and lifelong Hampton resident, Mrs. Cox was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church and its senior choir.

Survivors include her sons, Alvin L. Paige of Hampton and James Paige of Newport News; her daughter, Patricia Paige of Hampton; five grandchildren; and a brother, Caggie Corbin of Newport News.

The funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday at Morning Star Baptist Church by the Rev. Wilbur Jones. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Mrs. Cox will be placed in the church by 9 a.m. on Monday. Assemble at 6 at Pickett Dr.,by 10 a.m. on Monday. Mrs. Cox may be viewed from noon to 3 p.m. today at Ronald C. Perkins Funeral Home.
