Pauline Lewis Adkins, 79, of 221 N. Carpenter St., died Saturday, February 9, 2008, at Kings Mountain Hospital. She was born February 23, 1928, in Lawrence County, Ohio, to the late Joseph and Mary Clark Lewis.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:00 PM Tuesday at Midview Baptist Church

VISITATION: 5:00 – 7:00 PM Monday at the church

INTERMENT: Church cemetery

SURVIVORS: Son: George Lewis and wife Thelma of Ironton, OH; brothers: Ralph Lewis and wife Sharon, Jim Lewis all of Laharpe, KS; sisters: Mary Littlejohn of Kings Mountain, Katherine Ross of Geneva, FL, Alfreda Kyle of Harrison, OH; 12 grandchildren

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: her husband, Robert Adkins; 9 brothers and sisters

My Aunt Pauline was a Member of the Ironton city mission church in for 39 years,she worked in the nursery and helped with the food pantry and with giving clothes out to the needy,She also helped with the toys at christmas she Always made sure that all the dolls to be given out to the children were wearing Panties and Socks,she sewed each one by hand,she truly loved her church.
