Died, Nov. 23, at 1:45 p.m., Mrs. Elizabeth Waddell, wife of the late Josiah Waddell. She was born April 19, 1803, and lived in this State over fifty years and in this city and vicinity most of that time. She leaves no children, her only relatives being David and William Hall of Taylorville. Her husband was an elder in the First Presbyterian church and she was a member of the church and always prominently identified with its good works. For a number of years she had been confined pretty closely to the house and her last illness was of several weeks duration. The funeral will occur at her late residence, corner of Third street and North Grand Avenue, Tuesday at 11 a.m.
