A native of Brockton, Mass., he lived in Port St. Lucie for 20 years. He moved here from Seaford, N.Y.
Before retirement, he was a fireman for New York City.
He was a member of Elks Lodge 1520, Fort Pierce.
He was predeceased by his wife, Agnes Kaziun, in 1999.
Survivors include a son, Richard Kaziun of Holbrook, N.Y.; two daughters, Evelyn White of Boynton Beach and Lorraine Dugan of Annapolis, Md.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12 at Yates Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie. A wake service will be at 1:30.
A Mass of the Resurrection for the Repose of the Soul of Alfonse Kaziun will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 13, at St. Lucie Catholic Church.
Burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Queen of Peace Cemetery, Royal Palm Beach.
