From the marriage licence, Jane Tompson, spinster married William Willis, gent 16 May 1614 at Westminster, Saint Margaret with both of the parish.
William's 8 May 1627 will named the two surviving daughters, Julian and Jane and named his father-in-law, Mr William Tompson of Sawley, County of Yorkshire. The daughter, Jane married 19 May 1636 at Gisburn, where Jane's parents were buried. Her husband's will also left bequests to the poor of both Gisburn and Downham, near Sawley.
