Died, at the residence of his sister, Mrs. A. Nebinger, corner Fourth and Dodge streets, Dec. 23, at 6 a.m., Mr. Henry M. Tucker. The deceased was a son of the late E. G. Tucker, and leaves to mourn his loss one sister, Mrs. A. Nebinger, and four brothers, George T. Tucker of Decatur, Howard E. Tucker of Chapin, and J. C. and W. R. Tucker of this city. Henry was the oldest of a family of eight children, and was born in Washington, D. C., Aug. 11, 1844, being in his forty-ninth year. He was a printer by trade and worked on The Monitor for the last eight years. Soon after the death of his father in February his health commenced failing him and he was compelled to give up work. He went on a trip to New Orleans and to the seashore in hopes of being improved, but without success. While he was at no time confined to his bed, he kept gradually growing weaker until death claimed him.
