Terrence Smith, 60, of St. Louis, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022, peacefully at his home. Terrence Smith was born on August 11, 1962, in St. Louis, Missouri, to parents Edward D. Smith Sr. and Charletta A. Smith.
After Terrence graduated from Soldan High School in 1980, he attended the University of Missouri Columbia. He held a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. While attending Mizzou he became a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. in the fall of 1984, the Eta Gamma Chapter, and was an active member of Kappa Sigma Chapter, St. Louis, until his passing.
After graduating from college, Terrence started his career working in various halfway houses. On August 30, 1993, he joined the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. He retired on April 5, 2015, after serving 22 years on the force.
