Clyde Smith Sr., 64, of Route 2, Henderson, died at approximately 6:30 p.m. Friday en route to Community Methodist Hospital.
He is survived by his wife Alice; four daughters, Mrs Betty Bright, of Sturgis, Mrs Linda Stone, of Henderson, Mrs Lillian Cooper, of Henderson, and Mrs Helen Shelton, of Robards; two sons, James Smith, of Lafayette, Indiana, and Clyde Smith, Jr., of Kansas City, Kansas; three half sisters, Mrs Gertrude Alvey, of Uniontown, Mrs Winona Parish, of Morganfield, and Mrs Hazel, of Sturgis; one brother, Rosser Smith, of Murphysboro, Ill; three half brothers, Hayden Wright, of Louisville, Boyd Wright, of Lincoln, Ill., and George Wright, of Indiana; 26 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield.
Burial will be in the Old Bethel Cemetery.
