Gracie Sharpe Locker, age 87, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. She was born on April 5, 1935 in Madison County, AL, daughter of the late Alvie Wheeler. Sr. and Pearlie Lee Holder Sharpe. Mrs. Locker was a former employee of Copperweld and was a former hospital volunteer.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Joe Donald Locker; sisters: Fannie Mae Ellett, Rose Mary Hirlston, Frances Marie Honey and Betty Ruth Norman; and brother: Alvie Sharpe, Jr.
Mrs. Locker is survived by her son: Joey (Fran) Locker; granddaughter: Sheley (Chad) Cowley; grandson: Will (Kerri) Locker; great grandchildren: Andy Locker, Paisley Cowley, Ben Locker, Hudson Cowley and Brody Grimes; sister-in-law: Barbara Locker; brothers-in-law: Ed Norman and Whitt Hirlston; special niece and caregiver: Sherry (Mike) Horton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Monday, December 12, 2022 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Maranatha Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Randy Nichols officiating.
