Funeral services for Mrs. Pearlie Sharpe, age 103, of Hazel Green, AL, who passed away Wednesday, February 03, 2010, at her residence, conducted graveside in Lincoln Cemetery with Bro. Milton Martin and Bro. Benny Berry officiating and Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Sharpe was a native of Madison Co., AL, the daughter of the late Thomas & Lillie Manns Holder.
She was a housewife.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Alvie Wheeler Sharpe, Sr., daughters: Francis Marie Honey and Betty Ruth Norman, 7 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include daughters: Fannie Mae Ellett of Hazel Green, AL, Rosie Hirlston of Hazel Green, AL, Gracie Locker of Fayetteville, TN; son: Alvie Wheeler Sharpe, Jr. of the Lincoln Community; 12 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren.
