Daniel BINGHAM, one of the best known farmers of Highland Township, dropped dead Tuesday afternoon, December 8, while he was chopping wood at his home. He was the son of Alfred and Lucinda (Terrell) Bingham.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Arabelle {TALBOT} BINGHAM; thirteen children, Otis, of Switz City; Everett, of Worthington; Mrs. Orda GRAVES of Bloomfield; Bennie, of Newark; Dewey, of Calvertville; Mrs. Emma CALVERT, of Calvertville; Gilbert, of Bloomington; Lebert, of Newark; Willard, of Bloomfield; Victor, at home; Mrs. Dorothy MARTIN, of New Hope; Roy, of Calvertville, and Mrs. Bessie WATKINS, of Newark; two brothers, Tom BINGHAM, of Newark, and Jim BINGHAM, of New Hope; two sisters, Mrs. Mat LEONARD, of Dugger, and Mrs. Alice ARTHUR, of Hobbieville.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at the church at Newark.
