Funeral record shows she was the daughter of James B. Hunter and Elizabeth Thomas. She was born in Sunset, TX.

Hartshorne (Special)--Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Evans Chapel for Mrs. Steve Cooper, who died Friday night at Hastings Hospital at Tahlequah. Rev. C. H. Crouch was in charge of the service and the choir from the Baptist Church furnished the music. Ada Hunter Cooper was born August 24, 1878 at Sunset, Tex. She was married in 1902 to Stephen C. Cooper, Hartshorne. For many years she was a Methodist, but in 1924 united with the Baptist Church at Krebs. The husband survives, but is ill in the hospital at Tahlequah. Other survivors are six children: Corinne and Virginia of here; Toney, of Camp Pickett, Va., Paul of Camp Han, Calif., Fred of Tahlequah and Bill of Featherston; a sister, Mrs. D. C. Lance of Ada; a brother, J. P. Hunter of here and eleven grandchildren. All were here for the funeral.
