Born in Naples, Mr. DeBello came to Needham when he was 7 years old and graduated from Needham High School.He settled in Wellesley in 1936 and bought a summer home in Wareham in 1959. Mr. DeBello drove for a trucking firm in Needham before founding his own business in 1949, which is operated by his sons and one of his daughters. He retired in 1976.

Children: Sidney M. and David A. DeBello, both of Norfolk, Cecelia A. Bourette of Wellesley, Virginia E. Mead of Chifton Park, NY & Linda L. Dexter of Framingham.
