Daughter of Rev. Alvin M and Mary Jane Millard White. She married William Frank Mitts on January 27, 1909 in Dallas, Barron County, Wisconsin. She is the mother of five children. Her and Pops moved from Wisconsin to Oregon where they lived for a few years before they moved to Weed, Siskiyou County, California. Pops worked for the railroad. Four years before he retired they moved to Redding, Shasta County, California. After retirement they moved to Los Flores in Tehama County. Eva played the piano and was very active in the Assembly of God Church where they helped start the one in Weed. She also like to pull practical jokes on people.
