Annie Moore Rose, the widow of Elmer Rose, and the daughter of the late Henry and Ida McIntosh Moore, was born in Lee County, Kentucky on July 15, 1923 and departed this life in Beattyville, Kentucky on November 14, 2011 at the age of 88 years, 3 months and 30 days. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mooretown Church of Christ.

Mrs. Rose is survived by one daughter, Janet Sue Treadway and husband Gordon of Beattyville; one son, Kyle Eddie Rose of Beattyville; 10 grandchildren, Leisa Ammerman, James Coleman Treadway, Mark Edward Treadway, Danny Rose, Jr., Brad Rose, Almond Rose, Jessica Treadway, Candy Lawson, Jon Michael Rose and Adam Rose; several great grandchildren; one sister, Ida Snowden of Beattyville; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Rose is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Elmer; one son, Danny Rose; one daughter, Glendola Treadway; and several brothers and sisters

Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 16 at 11 a.m.at the Rose Family Cemetery on Mooretown Hill Road. Burial will be in the Rose Family Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Newnam Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 15, from 6 to 9 p.m.
