In the name of God, Amen. I, William Threlkeld of the Parish of Brunswick in County of King George, being at this time in perfect sense and memory, do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner following:
That is to say, first and principally, I recommend my soul to God that gave it hoping by the merits and mediation of my blessed Saviour, Jesus Christ, to receive full pardon of all my sins.
My body I commit to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my executor hereafter named, and as for what worldly goods it hath pleased God to bestow on me I give as follows, that is to say: .............
