Wilma was born December 29, 1920, to Ray T. and Ethel M. (Campbell) Alsip in Arkansas City. She grew up and attended school in Silverdale and graduated from Ark City High School.
On September 6, 1942, she married Walter J. Andrew in Arkansas City. The couple made their home in Arkansas City for several years before moving back to the family homestead in Silverdale in 1970. Wilma was a homemaker who loved caring for her husband. She was an avid painter and has displayed and sold many of her paintings. Wilma also enjoyed sewing, gardening, and was a longtime member of TOPS.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Walter, two brothers Max and Jack, and a niece Connie Willoughby.
A memorial has been established for the Cowley County Humane Society.
