James L. Hepler, 77, of Worthington RD 2, died Sunday, June 14, 1992 at his residence. He was born July 1, 1914, in Sugarcreek Township to Elmer and Hattie (Campbell) Hepler. A member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church of East Brady, Mr. Hepler was a charter member of Sugarcreek Volunteer Fire Company. He was a retired employee of PPG in Ford City, and enjoyed farming and outdoor activities. Survivors include his wife, Harriett J. (McNutt) Hepler, whom he married June 1, 1938; four sons, Ronald L. Hepler and Edward E. Hepler, both of East Brady, J. William Hepler of Worthington and J. Russell Hepler of Bradys Bend; a daughter, Linda J. Richardson of Plant City, Fla.; two brothers, George Hepler of Worthington RD 2 and John S. Hepler of Kittanning Rd 3; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter; a grandson, Andrew David Hepler ; two brothers, Floyd Hepler and Ralph Hepler; and a sister, Ruth Peschel. HEPLER – Friends of James L. Hepler, 77, of Worthington RD 2, who died Sunday, June 14, 1992, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home in Worthington, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Motter, pastor of Brookville Missionary Alliance Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Chicora. Arrangements by Snyder.
