Myrtle L. Strickland, 86 of Supply, died Sunday, January 8, 2023 at her residence. Mrs. Strickland was born in Brunswick County on December 14, 1936 and was daughter of the late Willie Clarence Clemmons and Ruby Hazel Milliken Clemmons.
She was a computer operator with DuPont for twelve years and later owned and operated various businesses of her own prior to her retirement. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband; two sons and their wives; granddaughter; and two special cousins. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Babson.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 12, 2023 at eleven o'clock in the morning at the White Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel in Bolivia with Rev. Jesse Mooney and Rev. Lonnie Varnam officiating. Burial will follow in the Mintz Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service and other times at the residence.
